    Thank you for your interest in The Waterside Primary Academy. The decision about its opening is made by the Department for Education, not Greenwood Academies Trust. However, we can confirm that The Waterside Primary Academy is not due to open for the 2025/2026 academic year and Nottingham City Council will not be accepting applications for children to start school there in September 2025. We expect to receive more information in the coming weeks and will share any updates as soon as they’re available.

    Applications for admissions for Reception aged children to The Waterside Primary Academy will be open from early November 2023 ahead of the school’s first intake in September 2024. The Academy will open with 30 pupils in Reception. The nursery will open at a later date.
